A Comparison of YouTubers' Susbcribers, Views, and Video Counts

Original Data

This chart shows each YouTubers' subscribers compared to views. The circle size is the number of videos they have posted.

Using this graph, we can analyze the correlation between subscribers and views, as well as the slight correlation between number of videos posted and views. But is there any actual correlation between subscriber count and view count?

It is clear that more videos posted typically results in more views. It is also important to note that Zack D. Films primarily posts YouTube shorts. Furthermore, while views and subscribers are somewhat positively correlated, it is hard to clearly see this.

Looking at the graph on the left, it is easier to visualize the amount of views each YouTuber has compared to each other.

Comparing this graph and the previous graph, we can see that subscriber count does not actually have a very clear correlation to views.

For example, Ryan's World and Zack D. Films have way more views than everyone else, but their susbcriber counts are relatively low compared to the other YouTubers in this analysis.

Finally, the figure on the right is a pie chart of YouTubers' subscribers as a percentage of combined subscriber count.

This further displays the lack of correlation between subscribers and views. Zack D. Films and Ryan's World have a combined 10.9% of total subscribers, yet they both have the most views by far. Meanwhile, Stokes Twins has the most subscribers (22.5% of total subscribers), yet they have less than half the number of views of Zack D. Films.
